Administrator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working with one of our engineering clients who are looking to add an Administrator with bookkeeping or credit control experience to their team on a permanent contract basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a unique company who have developed a reputation as one of the major players in their industry over the last 300 years of business.

Based in their offices in Auchtermuchty, a driver’s licence would be very beneficial but not essential.

The Role

As the Administrator you will be responsible for the general office work as well as the bookkeeping and credit control element of the business.


As the Administrator your duties will include the following:

  • General administration duties
  • All basic bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger
  • Raising and distributing invoices and monthly account statements
  • Answering the telephone and responding to email enquiries
  • HR responsibilities such as holiday requests and risk assessments
  • Ordering all supplies
  • Liaising with suppliers

Skills & Experience

To be considered for the Administrator position you must have the following skills & experience:

  • Administration skills
  • Bookkeeping/Credit Control experience
  • IT Skills
  • Ability to work with clients and suppliers
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Good telephone manner
  • Driving licence (beneficial)
