We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Administrator to join a world renowned engineering company based in Dunfermline.
You will be working as part of a small but busy Facilities team. This department deals with all maintenance/service contractors for the site.
You must have previous experience within a fast paced working environment. People skills are key as there is a lot of face to face interaction with clients and suppliers.
This will initially be a temporary position, however, will become permanent if all performance requirements are met.
Main Role Responsibilities:
- Confident using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel essential.
- The Facilities department retains a range of large volume of excel files that are used on a daily basis and must be kept precise and up to date.
- Calling suppliers and paying for invoices using the department MasterCard.
- Raising requisitions on SAP – training will be provided for this.
- Ordering stationery and office supplies as required.
- Monitoring the internal facilities system for tickets submitted by employees and allocating to the correct member of the team - training will be provided.
- General data input and filing.
- Arranging rooms as required for meetings.
- Holiday cover – assisting with any requirements whilst the Facilities Coordinator is on holiday.
- Any other general administration tasks to suit the business needs.
Hours:
This is an office based position
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Holidays:
28 days per year, 5 of which are mandatory plant closure days (two at Christmas, two at New Year and one in October when the plant closes for maintenance).
Salary:
This is dependant upon experience.
