Graduate Engineer - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working with one of our Engineering clients who are looking to add a Graduate Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to their team in Dalgety Bay

This is a fantastic opportunity for a young and enthusiastic Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join a truly unique client and industry.

The Role

As the Graduate Engineer you will work closely with management in the development of the client’s new facility in Dalgety Bay. You will assist with the electronics, Mechanicals, PLC programming and the electrical documentation within the manufacturing unit.

Responsibilities & Duties

As the Graduate Engineer your duties will include the following:

  • Working closely with management and the engineering team
  • Providing solutions to resolve any electrical issues with the machinery
  • Completing and update all electrical documentation
  • Upgrade and modify existing control systems in accordance with specification
  • Assist with on-site installations and commissioning
  • Develop your knowledge and abilities

Requirements

To be considered for the Graduate Engineer position you must meet the following:

  • Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Ability to complete Electrical Documentation
  • Strong Mechanical knowledge and interest
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Due to location your own vehicle would be an advantage
  • You must be a UK national or have the right to work in the UK
