Technical Operator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working closely with our Lochgelly based client, Clas-SiC Wafer Fab, who are looking to add Technical Operators to their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As the Technical Operator, you will be working within a clean room environment wearing full PPE (suit, mask, glasses, gloves etc). You will be working across various departments within the facility and manufacturing process. You will play a key part in the production and manufacturing of high end electrical components.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Technical Operator your duties & responsibilities will include the following:

  • Carrying out production operation duties within the facility
  • Work within various divisions of the facility
  • Achieve set timelines and milestones
  • Operate various production machinery
  • Identify and analyse any production failures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensure all materials and finish products are at the highest standards
  • Maintain the high standards expected by the client
  • Ensure health & safety and environmental issues are prioritized

Skills & Experience

To be considered for the Technical Operator role you must have the following skills & experience:

  • Above all else the Technical Operator must be willing to learn and want to work
  • Must be able to get to the site
  • Must be able to work all shifts
  • Good common sense and ability to learn new skills
  • An understanding of the importance of health & safety
  • Good attitude

Shifts

As the Technical Operator you must be able to work all shifts on a rotational basis:

Dayshift 

Mon to Thur 07:00 ‐ 16:15 and Friday 07:00 ‐ 12:00

Nightshift

Mon to Thur 22:00 ‐ 08:00

Backshift

Mon to Thur 12:30 ‐ 23:00
