2020 Recruitment are working with our engineering client who is looking to add Weld Dressers to their team in Renfrew.
This will initially be a contract until April but may be extended if the work demands it.
The Role
As the Weld Dresser you will be working with a variety of hand tools including electric grinders, pneumatic grinders and pad sanding tools. Mostly dressing welds on components of various shapes and sizes ready for painting.
Duties
As the Welder Dresser your duties will include:
- Dressing welds to a high standard
- Using various power tools
- Assisting trades where required
- Ensuring health and safety upheld at all time
Requirements
To be considered for the Weld Dresser role you must have the following experience:
- Experience of using hand tools
- Experience of working within an engineering facility
- Prior experience of steel dressing / grinding
- Health and safety awareness
- Right to work in the UK
Package
As the Weld Dresser you will be offered the following:
- Hourly rate of up to £14
- PAYE contract
- Holiday pay
- 39 hours per week minimum
- Overtime when required
- Potential opportunity of longer work
