We are looking to speak to time served Welders/Fabricators for permanent positions for our client, a long standing, well established business within the welding industry with a superb reputation.
You must be qualified to an NC/HNC in welding/fabrication and at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate must be confident in your ability but conscientious in your approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality and have a working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards. This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy fabrication and welding projects. You may be required to work in all weathers on and off site.
The Role
- To ensure all welding and fabrications regardless of location are carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Contribute to design and installation of all projects you are involved in.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Input to training requirements.
- Ensure timesheets are filled in correctly as shown and be punctual.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Act with honesty, integrity and accountability.
Skills Required
Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include:
- Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
- Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)
- Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG)
- Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding
- Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.

Experienced working with a variety of materials to include mild steel, austenitic stainless steel and aluminium.
