2020 Recruitment are working with a Waste Management company who are looking to add a 360 Excavator Driver to their Fife based quarry.
This will initially be a contract position but a permanent position will be offered at the end of the probationary period.
We are also welcoming applications from candidates with Wheel Loader experience.
This is a Monday to Friday position working 48 hours per week with staggered start and end times.
Overtime available every second Saturday.
The Role
As the 360 Excavator Driver you will ensure that the material flows from the installation are processed correctly so that the production of the installation does not stagnate. In addition to material handling, the operator is an integral part of the team and assists the installation manager with the daily maintenance of the machines.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the 360 Excavator Driver your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Effectively drive processed material from piles to place/load onto a truck/dumper
- Able to drive unprocessed bottom ash to crane for reprocessing process
- Be proficient in weighing and emptying containers
- Show ability to handle 360 Excavator over 10tn and/or Wheel Loader
- To ensure correct administration of the various material flows
- To ensure machine is in orderly condition and used in correct manner
- Able to complete daily maintenance and accurate machine checks
- Able to monitor production process and intervene in event of malfunctions or obstructions
- Help to manually clean the installation as required
- Come off the machine and help around site when required
Requirements
To be considered for the 360 Excavator Driver role you must have the following:
- CPCS or NPORS Ticket
- Experience of 360 Excavator or Wheel Loader Operation
- Own transport due to location
- Health and safety awareness
- Ability to work off the machine when required
- Local to the area and hold the right to work in the UK
