Administrator - Edinburgh

2020 Recruitment are working with a manufacturing client who are looking to add an Administrator to their team in South Queensferry on a permanent basis.

This is an office-based position that offers flexible start times and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week. Part – Time applicants will also be considered depending on availability.

The Role

As the Administrator you will be responsible for the day to day administration within the facility as well as the preparing financial documents such as invoices and purchase orders.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Administrator your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer service emails and enquiries
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets and documentation
  • Preparing invoices, purchase orders, and delivery forms
  • Assisting with dispatch logistics and shipping paperwork
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative and operational tasks
  • Managing stock levels of office supplies and placing orders
  • Greeting visitors and help with meeting room bookings and refreshments
  • Taking minutes during meetings (occasionally)
  • Getting involved wherever help is needed

Requirements

To be considered for the Administrator role you must have the following:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Comfortable using Excel and Word (we’ll train you if needed)
  • A team player who’s happy to pitch in with whatever’s needed
  • Friendly, proactive, and professional attitude

Package

As the Administrator you will be offered the following package:

  • £12.60 per hour
  • Permanent contract
