2020 Recruitment are working with a Kirkcaldy based client who are looking to add Agricultural Engineers to their team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in servicing and repairing garden machinery and small engine equipment.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime at weekends on shift pattern.
The Role
As the Agricultural Engineer you will be working within a busy workshop alongside other members of the engineering team. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs on various 2 stroke engines and 4 stroke engine machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Agricultural Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing all types of garden machinery
- Fault finding
- Ensure that customers understand the faults and repair process
- Working within a team and providing support where required
- Assist customers when required
Requirements
To be considered for the Agricultural Engineer role you must have the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of small engine equipment
- Experience in similar position
- Ability to diagnose and identify faults
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding
- Ability to working within a team
- Customer service skills
- Driving licence would be beneficial
