The Role
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and fault-finding precision equipment used within the medical industry.
This is a detailed, hands-on role where accuracy, consistency, and care are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components and equipment in line with strict procedures and quality standards
- Carry out fault finding and basic diagnostics on products
- Maintain production output and quality targets
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational goals
- Record and update information using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Support stores activities when required, including packing and unpacking goods
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic IT literacy (Word and Excel)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have the right to work in the UK and be within commuting distance of Dunfermline
