2020 Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a well-established global manufacturing client based in Dunfermline, who are currently looking for an Assembly Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a dayshift role, Monday to Friday.

The Role

As the Assembly Assistant, you will be working with robotic assembly equipment, carrying out straightforward tasks, monitoring performance, resolving minor issues, and escalating any faults to your supervisor. As you progress through training, you’ll also take on additional duties across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating production machinery
  • Completing assembly work to required standards
  • Identifying and addressing minor errors, reporting issues when needed
  • Packing finished goods into boxes and onto pallets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Supporting with a variety of additional tasks as required

Requirements

  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Keen to learn and grow within the company
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
  • Trustworthy and dependable
  • Able to provide two references and attend a face-to-face interview prior to submission
