2020 Recruitment is working with a market leader who are looking for a proactive Assistant Business Development Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This can be based at various locations throughout the UK, with hybrid working options available.
This role, reporting to the Group General Manager, will focus on identifying growth opportunities, expanding our client base, and supporting strategic business initiatives. A strong understanding of the marine and offshore wind sectors will be essential in gathering market insights and driving business expansion.

Someone who is a driven, detail-oriented professional with a passion for relationship building.
- Experience in a business development, sales or client facing role.
- Excellent communicator and networker.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the marine and offshore wind industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Support the development of strategies that align with company growth plans.
- Represent the company at events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Assist in managing contractor databases and pre-qualification process.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing communications, marketing materials and corporate communication.
- Work closely with internal teams to support tenders and bid submittals.
