Bar and Waiting Staff | Cupar
2020 Recruitment are working with a gastropub in Cupar who are looking for Bar and Waiting Staff to join their front-of-house team.

The Role
You will help provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests, whether they are visiting for a drink, a meal or a special occasion. Duties will cover both bar and restaurant service, depending on the needs of the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Serve food and drinks and check that guests have everything they need.
- Prepare drinks and maintain a clean, organised bar area.
- Set up tables and prepare the restaurant for service.
- Process payments and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues.
- Follow food hygiene, allergen and responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Help with cleaning, restocking and closing duties.
Requirements
We’re looking for people who are reliable, approachable and willing to help wherever needed. Previous bar or waiting experience would be useful, but a positive attitude and the ability to provide good customer service are just as important.
You should be comfortable working as part of a team and keeping up with the pace of a busy service.
The right to work in the UK is essential.
Working Hours
With the business being open from 12pm – 9pm Monday to Thursday and a 11pm close at weekends shifts will be spread across these hours with 2 consecutive days off per week.
Part-time hours may also be an option to fit around studies or other commitments.
Pay
As the Bar & Waiting Staff you will be offered a basic pay equal to the National Living Wage. Tips are added on top of this with both being paid on a weekly basis.
