2020 Recruitment are working with a national decommissioning client who are looking to add Burners to their site in Methil.
This is a temporary role but expected to be around 6 months work.
To be considered for this position you must have previously worked within a similar role.
The Role
As the Burner you will be working on the decommissioning of a jacket coming in. You will assist in the dismantlement of the jacket and will be burning the steel as per regulation guides.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Burner your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of the decommissioning team
- Assisting with the disassembly
- Ensuring all steel is burnt and recycled responsibly
- Always maintaining the highest level of health and safety
Requirements
To be considered for the Burner role you must have the following experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of using burning equipment and tools
- High levels of health & safety awareness
- MEWP certs (not essential but would be an advantage)
Package
As the Burner you will be offered the following:
- Hourly rate of £17.60 PAYE
- Overtime at £22ph weekdays/£26.40 on a Saturday
- Holiday pay accrued at no cost to you
- Estimated 6 month contract
- Weekly pay
