We have an exciting position for a Business Development Manager for a large national engineering company to join their team on a permanent basis.
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible in assisting with creating new business opportunities and maintain and further develop our existing client relationships.
To qualify for this position you must be flexible in your working hours and are open to travel and able to attend events to meet the business requirements. You must have a full UK driving licence and have relevant experience in a similar role. This position offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK with a hybrid work option available.
Principal Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of market development and opportunities
- Creating new business opportunities that align with company growth and strategy
- Pursuing new business opportunities and developing good relationships with existing and potential clients
- Assisting in building a strong company brand and contributing to the successful overall performance of the company
- Promoting the company through attendance at conferences and exhibitions
- Maintain company registrations on key contractor databases
- Assisting with the creation of marketing material, PR text and other written material
- Manage the preparation and submission of Pre-Qualification documentation, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with company tender process where required
