The Role
As the CNC Miller you will be responsible for the operations and programming of the machines on site as well as working in other areas of the business when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the CNC Miller your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating CNC milling machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Programming CNC machines
- Inspecting machined parts
- Maintaining equipment
- Following safety procedures
Requirements
To be considered for the CNC Miller position you must have the following experience:
- Previous working experience and knowledge of CNC Machinery
- Experience working with a range of materials: Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper
- Reliable to work well and efficiently within a small team with minimum supervision
- Undertake any other duties as necessary or required and be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Willingness to work within other areas of the facility when required
- Must have the right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Glenrothes
Package
As the CNC Miller you will be offered the following:
- Hourly rate of £16-£19ph based on experience
- Monday to Friday working hours – Days only – No shifts
- Overtime available at time and a half
