2020 Recruitment is working with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Dundee who are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller looking for a permanent position offering a 4 day working week, competitive hourly rate and a stable working environment.
The Role
Working as part of the machining team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to the required specifications.
Your duties will include:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Producing components from engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out dimensional and quality checks on finished components
- Selecting appropriate tooling and making machine adjustments where required
- Ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently
- Working to required quality and health & safety standards
- Programming experience would be beneficial, although this is not essential
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience working as a CNC Miller
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
- The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of machining processes and measuring equipment
- A strong focus on quality and accuracy
- CNC programming experience would be advantageous
