2020 Recruitment are working with one of our engineering clients who are looking for an experienced Divisional Accountant to join their team in Fife. This is a full-time office-based role.
The role:
As the Divisional Accountant, you will be providing financial and accounting support to the Group Financial Accountant and the Divisional Managers. You will assist with the production of accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and analysis for the division and to external clients when necessary.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Act as primary point of contact for key customers for financial and commercial matters
- Ensure all project costs are maintained through the ledger and contract costing modules
- Liaising with operational management
- Generating sales invoices for all contracts
- Approving all divisional purchasing and associated coding
- Preparing annual budgets along with the annual audit process
- Develop and improve processes to achieve best practice
- Assist with tender costing and bid proposals
- Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of all commercial areas of contracts
