Excavator Driver / Wheel Loader | Fife | £16 per hour
2020 Recruitment are recruiting an Excavator Driver / Wheel Loader Operator for a client with sites in Fife.
You’ll move and load materials, support the processing operation and carry out daily checks to keep the machines in good working order. This role suits someone who takes safety seriously, works well with others and is comfortable in a busy industrial environment.
This will initially be a contract role with the successful candidates becoming permanent members of the team after a 12 week period.
The role
- Move processed material to storage areas or load it onto trucks and dumpers.
- Move unprocessed material for reprocessing.
- Weigh and empty containers and record material movements accurately.
- Complete daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Monitor production, report faults or obstructions and assist with cleaning and maintenance when required.
- Work at other sites when needed.
You’ll need experience operating an excavator or wheel loader, a practical approach and the ability to work safely as part of a team.
Hours and benefits: Full time, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The role is based on a 48-hour week and offers a company pension, 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, overtime allowance and training. A bonus may also be available, subject to the employer’s terms.
You must have your own transport to get to site. The right to work in the UK is essential.
