2020 Recruitment are working with a Glenrothes area manufacturing client who are looking to add a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to their team on a contract basis.
This will be an estimated 6 months of work but may be extended.
Only those with valid counterbalance licences in their name will be considered.
Working Hours
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5:30pm.
Occasional weekend overtime may be available if project requires.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Forklift Driver your duties will include:
- Driving/operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and Unloading materials
- Quality Checking products
- Carrying out daily safety checks
Requirements
To be considered for the Forklift Driver role you must have the following:
- Valid and in date Counterbalance Licence
- Previous experience
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment
- Ability to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols
Package
As the forklift Driver you will be offered the following:
- Hourly rate based on experience starting at £12.50ph
- PAYE contract (no payroll costs etc)
- Minimum 6 months contract
- Holiday pay accrued
