We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker Foreman with a valid SSSTS qualification to oversee groundworks operations on our clients' large construction project in Renfrewshire.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead groundworks teams, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate groundworkers and subcontractors on site
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
• Read and interpret site drawings and specifications
• Liaise with site management, engineers, and other trades
• Oversee drainage, foundations, kerbing, ducting, concreting, and external works
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed to programme
• Report progress and any site issues to management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworker Foreman
• Valid SSSTS certificate (essential)
• Strong background in civil engineering and groundworks
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams
• CSCS Card (essential)
• CPCS / NPORS plant tickets advantageous
• First Aid certification beneficial
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
