HR Shared Services Transformation Manager - Remote

Ref: 822 Date Posted: Tuesday 06 Oct 2026

We are recruiting an experienced Consultant Manager to lead the design, development and implementation of a new Manager Capability Centre within a global HR environment.

This is a contract position running until 31st December 2027.

This is a senior, project-focused position requiring someone with proven experience in Manager Service Centre / Manager Capability Centre design and implementation. This is not a traditional Employee Service Centre role.

Working closely with HR leadership and Shared Service Centres in the US, Mexico City and India, you will provide expertise and consultancy around manager capability, HR service delivery, process design, technology and project governance.

To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience in the design or implementation of a Manager Service Centre, Manager Capability Centre, or closely comparable HR Shared Services model.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can operate confidently with senior stakeholders while taking ownership of the programme from initial design through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and stand-up of a Manager Capability Centre.

  • Develop the HR service delivery model, including service structure, governance, service catalogue, SLAs and KPIs.

  • Assess and standardise HR processes across different regions ahead of migration.

  • Work with HR technology including Workday and ServiceNow, with a particular focus on manager and employee experience.

  • Plan and manage the migration of HR operational processes into the new centre.

  • Develop SOPs, process documentation, knowledge transfer and implementation plans.

  • Lead project governance, programme planning, timelines, reporting, risk management and issue resolution.

  • Work closely with HR Leadership, HR Operations, HRIS, Legal, local HR teams, Shared Service Centres and Centres of Excellence.

  • Support change management, communications and training associated with the new operating model.

  • Establish post-implementation measures including service performance, manager experience and continuous improvement.

  • Provide consultancy and guidance on Manager Service Centre capabilities and best practice.

You should possess:

  • Strong previous experience within HR Shared Services, HR transformation, HR consulting or HR operations.

  • Proven experience designing and/or implementing HR Shared Service or Manager Service Centre models.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and service delivery.

  • Experience working within complex, international HR environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow or comparable HR technology.

  • Experience of project and programme governance.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Confidence working with senior HR leaders and global stakeholders.

  • Experience managing multiple workstreams across different countries and time zones.

  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee data and GDPR/data privacy requirements.

Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Prince2, PMP or Agile methodologies would be advantageous.

Working Environment

This is a 40 hour working week remote position, however, flexibility around working hours will be important as there will be a requirement to work across international time zones.

The role operates within a global HR structure, therefore, you will regularly liaise with Shared Service Centres in Mexico City and India, as well as HR Leadership Team members based in the United States.

Although extensive travel is not expected, minimal international/site travel may be required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR transformation professional to take a leading role in creating and implementing a Manager Capability Centre within a complex global organisation.

An excellent salary package will be offered to the right person.
