2020 Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Implementation Project Manager on a 12 month contract to support the successful delivery and implementation of services across multiple European sites. Regular onsite presence required across across site locations at Stevenage and Ware.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised project professional who enjoys working across cross-functional teams, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from planning through to go-live.

The Role

Project & Implementation Management

• Lead end-to-end implementation of services across European sites.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and deployment of processes and systems.
• Track progress against Statement of Work (SOW) milestones and ensure timely execution.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks and issues through appropriate internal channels.
• Ensure readiness for successful go-live across European sites.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Support the Programme Manager with overall governance and customer engagement.
• Coordinate internal communication across operations, quality, logistics and site teams.
• Prepare project updates, status reports and governance meeting materials.
• Attend customer meetings where required, providing implementation updates and subject matter expertise.
• Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to support Programme Manager-led communications.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation delivery.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of onsite personnel.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, including import/export and Dangerous Goods (DG) compliance specialists.
• Ensure systems, documentation and operational workflows are fully established and ready for implementation.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

• Proactively identify implementation risks and escalate through the Programme Manager and governance structure.
• Manage day-to-day issue resolution throughout implementation and stabilisation.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
• Minimise disruption to site operations during implementation and transition.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing implementation or project delivery within a complex operational environment.
• Strong project planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams across different functions.
• Ability to identify risks and drive solutions proactively.
• Experience supporting service transitions and operational go-live activities.
• Knowledge of governance processes, reporting and project documentation.
• Experience within a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, logistics or manufacturing would be advantageous.

Salary

Up to £60K is being offered.
