2020 Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Fife based client who is looking for an Installation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mechanical experience to be involved in the installation and repair of various stairlifts, public area lifts and other installations in both a commercial and domestic environment.
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have a mechanical or electrical background or understanding as well as full drivers licence.
The Role
As the Installation Engineer you will be covering installations, servicing and repairs throughout Fife and the surrounding areas. At times you will also be working within residential areas and will provide great customer service to those clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Installation Engineer your duties will include:
- Service and maintain straight and curved stairlifts and an array of public access lifts
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Install straight and curved stairlifts
- Conduct on-site surveys in customers' homes
- Maintain accurate job sheets and service records
- Ensure the company van is tidy
- Occasional on-call requirements
Requirements
To be considered for the Installation Engineer you must have the following:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background/experience
- Great fault finding skills
- Ability to provide solutions to customer problems
- Installation skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Live within the Fife area
Package
As the Instalaton Engineer you will be offered the following:
- Salary of £30k - £40k depending on experience
