Internal Recruitment Consultant - North West England

2020 Recruitment are working with our engineering company based in Aberdeen who are looking for an experienced Internal Recruitment Consultant to join their team.

This will initially be a 3-month contract with the opportunity to work remotely, with the view to being made permanent. You must be based within commutable distance of Manchester or Plymouth.

 

The Role

As an Internal Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various positions within the company. You will work closely with department heads to ensure teams are equipped with the best talent to drive the business forward.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Create and manage job postings on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and the company website.
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job fairs, industry events, and networking.
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Assess candidate qualifications and fit for the company culture.
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert recruitment advice.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the company.
  • Promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and events.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in using ATS and other recruitment software.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with labour laws and regulations in the UK.
