2020 Recruitment is working with a global client who are looking to add Inventory Associates to their team on a full time temporary basis to assist with a project for approx. 8 to 10 weeks based. This position is fully based on site at Westpost, Republic of Ireland.
Job Summary:
You’ll be responsible for helping manage inventory at a manufacturing site. This includes checking stock levels, solving any issues with supplies and making sure orders are correct and completed on time. You’ll work closely with other business teams like production, purchasing and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Check stock daily and solve any supply or inventory problems quickly

Keep track of production orders and make sure they are completed on time

Fix any inventory issues related to materials used in production

Deal with open or delayed orders

Help plan and manage product packaging and re-grading with other teams

Make sure materials are ready and available for production schedules

Help count stock and fix any differences

Contact suppliers for delivery confirmations

Carry out internal and vendor stock checks

Investigate and fix issues like expired items, duplicate shipments, or incorrect goods

Solve problems between systems (QSS and ERP) if orders aren’t showing up properly

Work with the purchasing team to plan future stock needs

Monitor and fix material or production capacity problems to ensure on-time delivery

Recommend updates to product information (BOMs) to improve accuracy

Other tasks as required by the business
Qualifications:
-
Finished high school (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
-
3 to 5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse or similar role
-
Background in inventory or accounting is a bonus
Skills Needed:

Excellent with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and handling large data sets

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Able to stay organized and manage time well

Knowledge of how inventory and warehousing work

Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

Very detail-oriented and accurate in your work
Work Environment:
Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: €31,000 per annum
Holidays: 25 days plus public holidays pro-rata
