We are looking for an IT Analyst for our global engineering client based in Hersham. This is initially a 6 month contract position, however, could lead to longer term work. This is a full time office based position Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.
The role of the IT Analyst will be to Provide technical user support using analysis and problem-solving skills to facilitate resolution, education and documentation of a variety of computer and software technologies used by our client.
You should have a positive and patient approach to solve problems and have strong people skills. You should have previous hands-on experience trouble-shooting multiple hardware and software technologies. Strong analytical, problem solving, communications and documentation skills are essential to this position.
Position Responsibilities

Provide operational support.

Collaborate with other Technical Support and Engineering teams when necessary to provide additional testing, training, trouble-shooting and documentation in respect of technical user support.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for the enterprise computing environment’s supported technologies.

Collaborate with other Technical Support and Engineering teams when necessary to provide additional testing, training, trouble-shooting and documentation in respect of technical user support.
Education/Experience
-
Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Approximately 3-5 years of experience within one or more areas within Information Technology or a similar organisation.

Client Support experience preferred.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills, especially in English.

Secondary language preferred, but not required.

Strong problem solving & customer service skills.

General understanding of Information Technology infrastructure and processes.

Ability to assess and prioritize competing urgent issues.

Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively within the team.

Good understanding of ITIL processes (knowledge, problem, incident, etc.).
