2020 Recruitment are working with our global client who are looking to add a Yard Labourer to their team in Montrose.
This will initially be a 3-month contract with the potential to be extended or made permanent.
This is a varied role within the yard and the successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks.
The Role
As Labourer, your duties will be varied and will include activities such as power washing, moving components around the workshop workflow areas, lifting and handling, general cleaning and housekeeping.
Working Hours
07.00 - 16.00 Mon - Thu, 07.00 - 12.00 Fri
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Labourer your duties will include the following:
- Maintain housekeeping to high standard in manufacturing workshops and outside storage areas
- Power wash equipment
- Maintain housekeeping and coverall storage with locker room
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and order within facility and within a safe state at all times
- Empty swarf, material off-cuts and waste containers when required
- Work collaboratively with and assist all departments as and when required, including machine operators and management
- Ensure all company policies surrounding, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
Requirements
To be considered for the Labour position you must have the following:
- Physically fit to do the role
- Hardworking
- Reliable and punctual
- Health & Safety awareness
- Counterbalance Licence would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
Package
As the Labourer you will be offered the following:
- £12.50ph PAYE
- Minimum of 3 month contract
- Potential extension
