2020 Recruitment are working with our Dalgety Bay based manufacturing client who are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis to their rapidly growing team. This is a full time 4 day working week office-based position.

The Role
As a manufacturing engineer you'll have a high level of technical expertise and skill, which you'll use to plan, design, set up, modify, optimise and monitor manufacturing processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Manufacturing Engineer your duties will include:
- Co-ordination & development of teamwork to support all types of customer requirements through the New Product Introduction Process from fast turn prototype through to volume output.
- Providing detailed build instructions for all products throughout all production phases
- Implementation of effective and controlled configuration & data management processes
- To focus engineering activities to ensure timely, fault-free product delivery to meet and exceed customer expectation.
- Equipment and Tooling specification and procurement
- Support Engineering Change & Concession processes
- Improve current operations wherever possible
- Identify, propose, and implement process and efficiency improvements
Key Skills Required
To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineer role you must have the following experience:
- Degree in a technical/engineering subject or significant industry experience
- Electronics experience
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- People management skills
- Knowledge of a range of engineering functions and procedures
- Project management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Awareness of health and safety issues
