2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based manufacturing client who are looking to add Manufacturing Technicians to their Dunfermline team on a permanent basis.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have technical experience from a previous role and have a strong understanding of fault finding, assembly and knowledge of engineering.
Shift Times
As the Manufacturing Technician you will be offered the following shifts with overtime also available on the weekend. X 1.5 on a Saturday & X 2 on a Sunday.
37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday – 7am – 4pm, 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8am – 5pm
Friday – 7am – 12:45pm (12:30pm with no break), 7:30am – 1:15pm (1pm with no break) or 8am – 1:45pm (1:30pm with no break)
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Manufacturing Technician your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assembling materials whilst stringently adhering to working procedures.
- Aligning complicated systems.
- Fault finding.
- Ensuring capacity and quality levels are maintained.
- Maintenance and upkeep of area ensuring cleanliness and functionality at all times.
- Working as part of a team to help achieve targets.
- Usage of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Potentially working in stores area packing, unpacking product.
Requirements
To be considered for the Manufacturing Technician role you must have the following experience:
- HNC or above (or equivalent) or equivalent education gained through work experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing.
- An ability to work within tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Team oriented - strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
- PC literate – specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
