2020 Recruitment is working with our client in Shanbally, Co. Cork to recruit a Materials Controller / Stock Handler.
This is a temporary to permanent, offering long-term career potential for the right candidate.
This is a multi-disciplinary role where you’ll support daily inventory operations, ensuring smooth stock management and excellent internal customer service.
You will report directly to the onsite leadership team and play a key role in maintaining efficient stock flow and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing inbound deliveries
- Acting as a point of contact for courier and internal queries
- Preparing and delivering internal orders across site
- Managing inventory, including stock counts and discrepancy investigations
- Supporting purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations
- Handling materials safely, including hazardous goods where required
- Maintaining accurate stock movement records and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Leaving Certificate (required)
- Experience: Background in warehouse, retail, or hospitality preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent employment history
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working in a customer-focused environment

- You thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
- You have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (highly desirable due to location)

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday | Rotating Shifts (6:30am – 3:00pm / 8:30am – 5:00pm)
Salary of €30-32k per annum
