2020 Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Newbridge based manufacturing client who are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their maintenance team.
This is a permanent position working 12 shifts both day and night on a 4 on 4 off rotation.
This is a hands-on role supporting a busy extrusion operation.
The Rols
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain production equipment, respond to breakdowns and work with production and quality teams to improve reliability, output and product quality.
Requirements
To be considered for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer position you must have the following:
- Hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in engineering
- Good fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems, with hydraulic knowledge
- The ability to work effectively with production teams during breakdowns and planned work
- A sound understanding of health and safety in manufacturing
- The flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
- Experience with PLCs, machinery commissioning or continuous improvement methods would be an advantage
- Right to work in the UK
