Office Administrator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working with an established engineering company who are looking to add an Office Administrator to their team on a permanent contract.

Based in Auchtermuchty you will be responsible for the operational aspects of the administration team and will work closely with engineers scheduling appointments and completing schedule reports.

This is a full time, office-based position. Due to location transport would be highly advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Office Administrator your duties will include the following:

  • Scheduling and assigning engineers to maintenance and reactive jobs and following up on work results
  • Liasing with Sales team to assign engineers to project jobs and tracking progress
  • Organise accommodation and contractor logistics
  • Keep management informed by reviewing and analysing trends
  • Track stock of company goods and equipment and place orders when necessary
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Managing and updating company databases
  • Managing the maintenance of office and facility equipment
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Establish efficient workflow processes monitored daily
  • Manage phone calls and all correspondences


To be considered for the Office Administrator role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as an Administrator
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Customer service skills
