Hi,
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Operator to join a chemical plant in the Walkden area.
This is an initial six-month contract, expected to begin on 21 September 2026, with an hourly rate of £17.79 PAYE plus shift allowance.
The working week is 39 hours:
• Monday to Thursday: eight-hour shifts
• Friday: seven-hour shift
• Shift times of either 6:00am–2:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm
• Potential overtime available
• Fully site-based
To be considered, you must have:
• Previous experience working within a chemical plant or chemical-processing environment
• A valid FLT licence
• A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
• Basic computer skills
• The right to work in the UK
Full training will be provided, although chemical-plant experience and a valid FLT licence are essential.
