2020 Recruitment are working with our industrial client who are looking to add a Plant Operator to their team in Stoke.
This will initially be a 6-month contract with the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the business at the end of this period.
In order to be considered for this role it is essential that the successful candidate holds a minimum of City and Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent.
The Role
As the Plant Operator you will play a key role in the day to day operations within the facility. The Plant Operator will be responsible for inspections and refurbishment of cylinders as well as maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Plant Operator your duties will include the following:
- Cylinder, valve and pack inspection
- Refurbishment and re-validation of both industrial and integrated products
- Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Fault inspections and escalations
- Willingness and flexibility to take on other duties as required
Requirements
To be considered for the Plant Operator role you must have the following:
- Minimum of City and Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent
- Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Right to work in the UK
- Health and Safety awareness
- A can-do attitude and the desire to work on your own initiative
Package
