Production Operator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working with our Dalgety Bay based client who are looking to add Production Operators to their team.

These roles are temporary for 12 weeks before being made a permanent member of staff within the organisation.

The Role

Working Monday to Thursday you will be assembling mechanical or electrical products for clients within various industries. Working hours are 7am – 5pm with overtime available on a Friday and weekends when the need arises.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Production Operator your duties will include:

  • Assembly (mechanical or electrical)
  • Wiring
  • Soldering
  • Reading and following instructions from drawings
  • Operating lifting equipment when required
  • Working closely to senior staff
  • Learning and development of skills

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally a mechanical or electrical understanding but not essential
  • Manufacturing experience
  • It is essential that you have a positive attitude to work
  • You must have a good eye for detail
  • Ability to read and follow diagrams
  • Determination to develop a career
  • Great timekeeping and attendance
  • References
