2020 Recruitment are working with our decommissioning client who are looking for a Project Manager to join their team based in Livingston.
This contract is expected to last a minimum of 6 months with the potential for this to be extended if further contracts awarded.
This is a contract role that is open to Limited Companies.
The Role
As the Project Manager you will be working out of the Livingston office with travel to the Fife site expected at times.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
- Travel to project sites in Fife and other locations as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for the Project Manager role you must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in decommissioning, construction, oil & gas, or related industries.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Fife and other locations.
