QC Administrator - Aberdeen

2020 Recruitment are working with an international engineering client who are looking to add a Quality Control Administrator to their team in Kintore.

This is initially a contract position with an expected duration of 6 months.

This is a key role within the Quality Control team, working closely with the departmental manager, production staff, and suppliers.

The Role

You will be responsible for contacting suppliers and leasing with the engineering team as required. The QC Administrator will take ownership of the administrative tasks within the quality division.

You will have the opportunity to manage all activities relating to the administrative tasks associated with the final inspection of various products and relevant documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the QC Administrator your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Review sub-contract supplier documentation
  • Print Drawings related to parts requiring QC inspection
  • Collate components and documentation as per priority list provided by production
  • Complete NCR’s as per instruction from QC inspector
  • Lease with purchasing to ensure NCR’s are progressed as required
  • Ensure the traceability of all parts required and documentation trails are in place
  • Recommend adjustments to the process
  • Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by your line Manager

Requirements

To be considered for the QC Administrator position you must have the following skills & experience:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role within a manufacturing facility
  • High levels of administration skills
  • Understanding of deadlines and targets
  • Be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately
  • Able to understand, evaluate and apply technical information
