Quality Administrator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are working with our Glenrothes-based manufacturing client who are looking to appoint a Quality Documentation Administrator on an initial 4-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator to join a busy Quality team, supporting the preparation and compilation of customer documentation and certification packages for a wide range of products and projects.

The role is fully office-based and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time.

The Role

As Quality Documentation Administrator, you will work closely with departments across the business including Quality, Production, Projects, Sales and Inspection to ensure all customer documentation and certification requirements are compiled, checked and issued in line with project deadlines.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch) | Friday 8:00am – 2:00pm. Full time office based.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing and compiling customer documentation and certification packages for completed products and projects
  • Gathering and organising documentation from various departments throughout the manufacturing process
  • Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and issued within required timescales
  • Reviewing and checking documentation packs and databooks prior to customer submission
  • Coordinating inspection reports, quality documentation and supplier certification
  • Attending daily production meetings and highlighting any documentation issues that may impact delivery schedules
  • Responding to customer documentation queries and liaising with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Maintaining accurate filing, archiving and traceability records
  • Updating internal databases, trackers and spreadsheets
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities within the Quality department
  • Assisting with general administrative duties as required
  • Ensuring compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working within an office-based administrative role
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience compiling customer documentation packs or certification packages
  • Knowledge of creating and managing PDF documentation
  • Qualifications in Administration, Business or IT
