Sales Administrator - North East England

A Sales Administrator is required on a 6 month initial contract with our global engineering client in Gateshead. This is a full time office based position.

Reporting to the Product Line Manager, as the Sales Administrator you will have responsibility for inputting and processing customer enquiries, quotations and orders utilising the ERP and CRM system. Key to this role will be your ability to utilise your experience to improve customer satisfaction by reducing customer response time and simplifying the customer experience. You will follow company procedures ensuring all administration work is completed in a reasonable timeframe. In collaboration with the Quotation Team, you will pursue customer orders and support the customer where possible. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders in a timely and efficient manner utilising the ERP and CRM system
• Oversee and log day to day enquiries coming into the team and out to the customers with the support of the Sales Engineers and Coordinators
• Represent the customer interests within the business to assist in finding resolution to requests in a timely manner
• Support the Coordinators with the measurement of departmental KPIs
• Comply with all departmental and company procedures at all times
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
• Ensure all company policies surrounding health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met

Experience Required:
• Computer literacy essential (including high expertise of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Experience in a similar position
• Experience within a sales environment
• Knowledge of good sales practice
• Knowledge of sales procedures
• Knowledge of ERP/ MRP systems

 

Salary:

Pay Rate: £13.00/hr
Overtime: 50% after 37.5hrs

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
