2020 Recruitment is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join our client in Grangemouth who are a global leader in stocking and manufacturing piping products
. This is a Monday to Friday permanent, office based position focused on managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and supporting the company’s overall growth strategy. This role offers a great opportunity for a results-driven professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily commercial activities within the sales office.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Utilise the company's group capabilities to maximize business opportunities.
Provide regular updates and reports on customer visits, market insights, and competitor activities.
Drive sales growth to meet or exceed established targets.
Participate in sales meetings and contribute to annual sales forecasts and targets.
Collaborate with colleagues across other locations to share market intelligence and best practices.
Duties & Expectations:
Ensure all operations comply with company policies and procedures.
Identify and target key sectors, markets, and major prospects.
Continuously develop knowledge of company stock and production capabilities.
Track and follow up on outstanding offers and quotations.
Work in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Attend relevant sales and management meetings.
Handle ad hoc product procurement for sales.
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
Commercial awareness with the ability to make profit-driven decisions.
Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to learn, adapt, and work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of contractual obligations, including Terms & Conditions of Sales and Purchase.
Working Environment:
Office based - Monday to Friday.
Occasional travel to customer locations.
Occasional business entertainment as required.
