Senior Sales Administrator - Fife

2020 Recruitment are looking to add an experienced Senior Sales Administrator to join a busy team in Kirkcaldy on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time office-based role working 40 hours per week. In this position you’ll be the main point of contact for customers, handling orders, stock enquiries, deliveries, and invoicing. You’ll also support the wider finance team and play an important part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

The Role

As the Senior Sales Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurate, delivered on time, and invoiced correctly. You’ll also manage customer records, deal with queries, and support colleagues across different departments. Strong organisation and attention to detail are vital, as is the ability to build relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Senior Sales Administrator your duties will include:

  • Receiving and reviewing customer orders
  • Timely and accurate invoicing
  • Supporting finance with month-end close
  • Working with other departments to ensure deliveries are on time
  • Raising credit notes where required
  • Maintaining sales and customer records
  • Managing customer complaints and queries
  • Overseeing export processes and invoicing
  • Ensuring supplier and customer systems integrate with internal ERP
  • Liaising with Production Manager on stock levels
  • Carrying out stock reconciliations with 3PL warehouses and SAP
  • General administrative support
  • Line management of Sales Administrator

Requirements

To be considered for the Senior Sales Administrator role you must have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing, supply chain or distribution
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Customer service and relationship management experience
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office – Word, Excel
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Knowledge of SAP and export processes would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
  • A team player with the flexibility to support colleagues when required
