2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based engineering company who are looking to add a Service Technician to their team.
This role gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a unique industry whilst also going through a high end training programme that will ensure you have the skills required for this role.
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have relevant qualifications in electrical/electronics as well as a full drivers licence.
This role would be ideal for a Graduate but is also available to those with experience if they are willing to undergo the training process for this field.
The Role
As the Service Technician you will be traveling to customer sites to repair any faults on the machinery they have purchased or complete planned maintenance. This role requires you to have a sound knowledge of our clients’ products as well as the ability to speak with customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Service Technician your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Installation and maintenance of machinery
- Working throughout Scotland with overnight stays expected
- Work and learn alongside other Engineers
- Undertake various training and educational courses
- Liaising with in-house project management team
- Work closely with clients to ensure the best service is provided
Education & Experience
To be considered for the Service Technician role you must have the following experience and attributes:
- Minimum of an HND in Engineering with electronic or mechatronic (or similar)
- Hands-on experience (desirable)
- Passionate
- Self-motivated
- IT literate
- Drivers Licence (essential)
