Site Operative | Fife | £14 per hour
2020 Recruitment are working with a client in Fife who is looking for a Site Operative to join their recycling and processing team.
This is a hands-on role in an industrial environment. You’ll help sort recovered materials, keep the site clean and support the smooth running of the production process. Full training will be provided.
This will initially be a contract role with the successful candidates becoming permanent members of the team after a 12 week period.
The role
- Sort materials including aluminium, stainless steel and copper.
- Clean spills and help maintain the processing equipment and work areas.
- Monitor production and report any blockages, faults or unsafe conditions.
- Work alongside the team to keep the site running safely and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone practical, reliable and willing to learn. You should be comfortable working in an industrial or outdoor environment and happy to get stuck in.
Hours and benefits: Full time, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The role is based on a 48-hour week and offers a company pension, 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, overtime allowance and training. A bonus may also be available, subject to the employer’s terms.
You must have your own transport to get to site. The right to work in the UK is essential.
