2020 Recruitment are working with a Glenrothes area manufacturing client who are looking to add a Skilled Labourers to their team on a contract basis.
This will be an estimated 6 months of work but may be extended.
Only those with experience within engineering or manufacturing facilities will be considered.
As the Skilled Labourer you will conduct semi-skilled duties within the manufacturing facility. You will be keen to take on challenges, develop your leadership and or skills potential as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of exciting initiatives.
Working Hours
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5:30pm.
Occasional weekend overtime may be available if project requires.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Labourer your duties will include:
- Assisting Engineers with the repair and installation of machinery
- Ensuring materials and equipment stored correctly
- Maintaining health and safety of site ensuring all areas are hazard free
- General labouring duties
Requirements
To be considered for the Labourer role you must have the following:
- Previous experience
- Experience working with machinery/plant hire or similar
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Reliable and punctual
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols
Package
As the Labourer you will be offered the following:
- Hourly rate based on experience starting at £11.75ph
- PAYE contract (no payroll costs etc)
- Minimum 6 months contract
- Holiday pay accrued
- Overtime opportunities
