2020 Recruitment are working with a North Lanarkshire based Electronics Company to recruit an SMT Line Operator on a permanent contract.
As an SMT Line Operator you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the surface mount line and all products being produced as well as working with Inspectors at various points throughout the process.

Key Tasks
As the SMT Quality Inspector, duties will include:
- Setting up of the Surface Mount materials on to feeders.
- Loading SMT programs for the Product being processed .
- Operating the SMT equipment ensuring all products process without issue.
- Logging SMT Line data and issues.
- Removing / replacing any misplaced components.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of SMT Quality Inspector you must have the following:
- Familiarity with electronic components
- PCB Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Experience in operating SMT pick-and-place machinery preferred
- Working knowledge of the SMT flow soldering process
- Awareness of MSL levels, material shelf-life and RoHS compliance

Working Hours
37 hour working week comprising of Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm with half hour lunch break.
