2020 Recruitment are working with an award-winning bespoke timber manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Stores Person to their team based in Kinross.

This is a permanent position and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to grow within an established business that really looks after their staff.

Please note only those experienced in Stores as well as windows and doors will be considered.

The Role

As the Stores Person you will be responsible for the management of stock as well as working with suppliers to ensure materials are available on time. You will be a key asset to the manufacturing team and will ensure that all deliveries are quality checked before accepting the order.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Stores Person your duties and responsibilities will include to following:

  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Ordering new stock and supplies
  • Quality checking of all deliveries
  • Working with all departments
  • Chasing outstanding orders
  • Ensuring paperwork and computer system is kept up to date
  • Forklift duties when required
  • Ensure the yard is kept tidy and hazard free

Requirements

To be considered for Stores Person role it is essential that you have the following experience:

  • Previous experience of working as a Stores Person
  • Experience and knowledge of windows and doors manufacturing
  • Organisational skills
  • People skills
  • Ability to manage stock levels
  • IT literate
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence (advantage)
