Storesperson - Glenrothes
2020 Recruitment are working with one of our manufacturing clients who are looking to add a Storesperson to their team based Glenrothes.
Within this role, you will be offered the opportunity to progress your career through the company with various training and certification programs.
As the Storesperson you will be responsible for the receiving and checking of deliveries from Suppliers as well as providing the production staff with the materials required.
Initially a 12 week contract, at the end of this period you will become a permanent staff member.
2 positions are available.
7:00am – 3:00pm & 9:00am – 5:00pm
Duties of the Storesperson include:
- Efficiently pick the correct components to Kit jobs from order lists.
- Carefully & quickly receive and quality check deliveries from suppliers.
- Log and process orders in a timely manner
- Record supplier defects correctly
- Assist the production department as and when required and directed the supervisor
- Keep the stores clean and in a safe working condition
To be considered for the Storesperson you will need the following skills and attributes:
- A basic understanding of components and handling requirements
- Previous experience of stores environment and stock control
- Great organisational skills
- Be able to work efficiently at pace
