2020 Recruitment are working with our Middleton based client who are looking to add a Warehouse Operator to join their team on an initial 3 month contract.
Please note that you MUST have a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licences to be considered.
As Warehouse Operative you will play a key part in maintaining daily production workflow to help achieve or improve on time delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring material deliveries are accurate and are communicated to internal customers to ensure continuous production without delays.

The working hours are rotating shifts 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Warehouse Operator your duties will include:
- Check accuracy of delivery lines
- Locate materials into Goods In
- Check and confirm materials are according to purchase order
- Store materials in respective designated areas or issue to relevant team
- Pick and issue materials as detailed on a parts list, electronically and physically, ensuring full material traceability
- Preserve materials to be held in Inventory
- Ensure all targets are met
- Maintain health and safety regulations within the facility
Requirements
To be considered for the position of Warehouse Operator you must have the following skills and experience:
- Working in a warehouse environment
- Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Ability to meet targets
- Health and Safety Awareness
Package
- £13.20/hr (£15.17 including shift allowance)
- OT rates where available
- 3 month contract but could be extended
- Holiday pay
- Pension contributions
