2020 Recruitment are looking for experienced Welders to join our Renfrew based client on a permanent basis.
You must have experience in welding aluminium, carbon and stainless and have decent fabrication experience to be considered for this role.
You must be qualified to an NC/HNC in welding/fabrication and at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate must be confident in your ability but conscientious in your approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality and have a working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards. This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy fabrication and welding projects.
The Role
- To ensure all welding and fabrications are carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure timesheets are filled in correctly as shown and be punctual.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Act with honesty, integrity and accountability.
Skills Required
Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role:
- Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
- Confined Spaces
- Working at Heights
- This role is only open to those based in the UK or with the right to work in the UK
Package
Salary on offer is dependent on experience but will be starting at £18ph.
39 hours per week with OT available when the demand is there.
