2020 Recruitment are working with an engineering client who are looking to add Welders to their team on a permanent basis.
As the Welder you would be working on various projects and must have experience in welding aluminium, carbon and stainless.
Please note that there is no relocation, sponsorship or travel assistance available. Only UK based candidates will be considered.
The Role
The ideal candidate must be confident in your ability but conscientious in your approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality and have a working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards. A 2” 6G carbon and stainless test will be conducted to judge skill levels before offer is made.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Welder your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all welding and fabrications are carried out safely and to a high standard
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Complete projects within timeframe
- Practice health and safety at all times
- Ensure timesheets are filled in correctly as shown and be punctual
Requirements
To be considered for the Welder role you must have the following experience and skills:
- Time served
- Codings not essential as testing will take place but would be advantageous
- Must be reliable and a team player
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to pass SC (not essential but would be an advantage)
